The most well known Lover’s bridge is at Paris, but we in Malaysia do have our own too ! It is located in the place that we visited which is Segenting, Batu Pahat. The significant parts of this Lover’s bridge is that roughly half or more of the bridge used the reinforced concrete as materials as the walkway for the bridge ,where as the rest is made up by strong woods just like olden day’s bridge !

Lover's Bridge

The Lover's Bridge at Batu Pahat are made by wood but cause of the original wood of the first half is corroted. Due to the problem , the major of the Batu Pahat change the rotted wood to the concrete .

These are some of the dwellings that can be found in the Fishing Village. Although we cant enter the houses of theirs ,but just by sight seeing we can clearly see that most parts of the houses ,their ‘wall’ are basically just metal covers , a simple wooden flooring ,and minor reinforced concrete. Ventilation of their houses will be very good as seen on picure above as well that some parts actually have no ‘walls’, which have natural air ventilation. The structure might be simple at look , but it these houses have beeen lasting for generations and its still standing strong in the sea ! Fisherman choose to stay like this because its very easy for them to park their boats , which is shown as picture above , it is just like our houses in the cities with car parks patio ,but instead theirs in on the sea and what they park are their ships as they earn a living with it.
